  • Plague incorporated for both PC and Mobile are almost ready with the fourth and final DLC add on to the game. However, the question that has been pestering me last night is will the disease be a virus type, parasite, a fungus or something else we have not seen yet.

My brain can not wrap around this final DLC plague type so I want to know what possibility the new unknown plague type would be?

Necroa Virus: The Common Zombie Virus was a interesting tack on the virus Plague type and the amount of scientific symptoms explained a lot on how these victims slowly descend into the monsters we know yet I felt rushed when playing it.

Simian Flu: Now this plague type acted just like the Necroa Virus except we add apes to do the killing rather than zombies, the only major issue I found with the simian flu is it doesn't behave like a flu rather it sort of behaves like a Virus/Bio-Weapon mix then again that's just my opinion so yeah I got my ass kicked after I realized all my apes died after holding off the cure for nearly 600 days.

Neruax Worm: A parasite on steroids basically something I can master without any trouble yet the amount of symptoms related to mental illness have got me quite intrigued about the disease.

    • Intriguing.  I'll follow this to see what speculations people concoct.

On a side note, my first time on Simian Flu nearly ended in a global extinction.  I eradicated humanity but only 5% of Earth's apes were left alive, .5% of them were still unintelligent.

Well you did better than me I guess XD I just stick with the parasite and prion half the times maybe something difficult but still it's hard to master.

What? It is possible, could there be a brain transmission that turns them into a predator or even an alien? Would a queen alien submerge or land on earth, just like the Neruax Worm?

Either that, or it could be a disease that causes WW3, hence the destruction of mankind?

And... There 'would' be different attack types...

Maybe there could be a secret 'sucker punch' 5th DLC or something...

    • I would prefer some kind of virus(or worm or something else)that lay eggs in people's brain that would make killer monster hatch out of it. The upgrades should be something like improved egg production, reproduction, etc... Or some kind of hypnosis virus, so we can make people kill each other while the normal and hypnotized human can both die of the disease

When you said "werewolves" I thought: "Oh great."  But that's actually quite clever.  Perhaps the cure research can't begin until a live werewolf is captured.

    • If you look on youtube there is a vampire plague theme, with stages of infection. Maybe Ndemic Creations could make a vampire plague called "Haemopathy". It would be a Bacteriophage (a type of virus) that could manipulate cells. The transmissions could be things like "Cell 1" "Amoeba 1" "Bacteria 1" so on and so forth. There could be 2 ways to destroy the world - kill everyone with symptoms like Haemorrhagic Shock and Blood Poisoning (viruses can't cause blood poisoning but bacteria can, hance why it should be a manipulative bacteriophage), or turn everyone into vampires. I'm not a twilight fan (as you might have thought) but I really think we should have this + the werewolf plague should be in the Haemopathy - you can turn people into werewolves or vampires

    • Goblinic parasite: a DNA altering disease that results in a week long change into a Goblin/Orc like creature. During the change, people will start mistreating the infected Patient Zero. A advancement to the disease will cause the infected Patient Zero to start experimenting with the virus out of anger causing the city to become infected. This will result in a organization forming. Gob-LN, a organization trying to stop the spreading caused by patient zero.

Ps. Sorry this was so long.

Well what I had in mind was different but I wish I know how to express it in words.

Bioweapon mutates and becomes increasingly deadly overtime, but my idea was the mutation of chromosomes that leads to people with syndromes like the already present Down's syndrome and other lethal syndromes.

But I guess you're right about what you said too, just an idea from me though :)

    • Parasitic Spider.

Now I know what I should suggest, and that's this.

It's somewhat a parasite that bites a host and lay eggs inside it (which the parasite actually looks like a spider) to infect the people, when the eggs was about to hatch, the host/people will suffer pain at any body parts (and I mean it, like the sexual organs?) and eventually dies after a while. Originally, it contains a little lethality and the spiders will came out from the host's/people's body after it hatches to invade/take over the world.

Though I firstly have no idea about it despite that I want to suggest 1 plague for the final one, but I recently get this idea not only from a movie name 'Spiders 3D' but also from my little brother when he reminded me about this and thus I present this plague for all of you to know. Do all of you like mine's suggestion, or do all of you want me to put this as a scenario mode's gameplay? It's up to all of you to make the choices.

Sure, it would be similar to the Necroa Virus, but imagine if there was an alternate tree which has symptoms that kill some humans but change, say, half of them into super-powered beings, just like the protagonist of said game? Their goal would be to make everyone like them and thus usher in a new age of humanity.

    • Why hasn't anyone suggested a virus like John Carpenter's The Thing? In the movie it was described as an extraterrestrial virus, capable of perfectly mimicing and absorbing any lifeform it comes across, but could only infect someone by turning into a mutation and attacking them. It seems like it would be simple to adjust it for Plague's gameplay style. Paranoia would be an issue among the uninfected but the Things would be able to play off this, maybe with an ability to call other people out as a Thing and attack in the confusion.

      Just a thought.

The dolphin plague behaves similar to simian flu, but the dolphins have physical and mental mutations, like legs and arms, and also the dolphins would hijack the worlds military, taking over them. And then, once the military is out, they can infect and destroy the country. And not only would the world create a cure, the military would also try to prevent them to take them over.

At the same time, you control a Bacteriophagic virus. Your goal is to either trick humans into accepting the bacteria and then evolving it to kill or infect the humans with the enchanting bacteria to later kill it (consequently killing the hosts cells, due to the symbiotic nature) with the bacteriophagic virus.

Or they will live when they kill others and become the ruler of the world (survived instead of suicide)?

I think this would create chaos as your own decisions would have backlashes like your colony of 1 mil apes turns into zombies, or humans and terminators vs zombies and apes...hmmm so many posibillities.. I think what they'd do is a technological advancement "connect humans to biointerface." and the digital virus is gold. Bam people are now infected via a virus. Pretty lame huh?

    • The plague which is actually an antidote to a plague people have no idea exist:

Just like how Fun had been eradicated, in the beginning of this a message will say there are no healthy people left in the world.

Random upgrade ideas: Harmless I/II/III: Less side-affects (less motivation = slower cure)

Sticky I: Boosted infectivity during summer season, reduced during winter. Sticky property of antidote let's it blend in with humidity of summer.

Just realized this would be a better scenario. Fuck.

        Loading editor
    • Antidote Scenario: You got a new pair of sneakers. A haircut. Something. Either way, you've decided that humans aren't that bad. Is it too late to save humanity?

Cure = Disabled, your disease is too good.

Every country is infected, while the infected pop starts at one.

Upgrades focus on making disease less harmful, and a 4 series of upgrades that will convince people the plague is real and start a slow cure, collect cure breakers for DNA and time as long as humans are alive. Some achievement will be awarded upon winning, related to heart/love of humans.

The exact opposite of plague inc you own a company called cure inc and a disease (you get to select from ones you unlocked)and its infected 45% of the world the dises will evolve to and you gain money instead of DNA and grow your strength to make a cure before the dises destroys the world

        Loading editor
    • There's two ways it could be done, one way, you have to devolve all the symptoms, or you could use DNA to get symptoms that make the disease less dangerous.

The gamemode even incorporates super heroes (which are against you) and villains (which help you) and the virus can have Symptoms like Aggression, Human Mind Control,  Intelligence,  Genocide. Abilities like Venom Bomb(increases spead of Symbiote), Venom Brute  Venom Wings, Venom Titan, Bind, Absorb (absorbs weapons to use as), Regeneration, Machine Takeover, Animal Takeover, Converge (Sybiotes murge to become a Venom Titan), Venom Undead (like Necroa), Mitosis (increases Symbiote), Symbiotic Buildup (Symbiote that does not take over a human, multiplies itself to become a jumbo Symbiote blob and roams freely to infect), Loki (villian that helps you), Doctor Octopus, The Leader, Goblin, Carnage, Venom himself, ect. This virus would be so cool.

    • I would REAAALLLYYY love it if they made the capillary worm virus from The Strain.

When you start out only seven humans can be infected, you will need to evolve a ability to turn them into the ancients.

The ancients will then start infecting people and turning them into vampires. You can upgrade the lesser vampires and make them smarter, stronger, ect.

The way to win is that you can either dominate the world passively, as in building your armies and gaining human allies and asserting dominance over the planet, or you can make the humans build nuclear reactors that will explode on command and shroud the world in darkness. You can then enslave the humans and start building blood camps.

The vampires or infected CANNOT cross open water, meaning that if you want to infect the other conitents you will have to have a human escort you over. There is no cure, the only way to lose is to have all of the ancients killed. The only way to kill them is to destroy thier original birth sites. When a ancient is killed you will lose all of the infected and vampires that the ancient had, so, you will need to protect the sites from the humans.

While the Ebola outbreak has mostly faded out (it's still infecting a few people, but it seems to have stopped otherwise), it would probably not be smart to create a Ebola scneario. So I don't think that's coming soon. There may, or at least was in development, be a AIDS scenario. If you explore around the tile files of PIE, you can see what appears to be a condom for one of them. As condoms are one of the ways to prevent spread of HIV, it could be/have been, a trait that would have made them ineffective.

Plague incorporated for both PC and Mobile are almost ready with the fourth and final DLC add on to the game.

Could there be such a thing as a radioactive virus?

    • Hemoplague.

Moderate severity at first and starts with the symptom Hemophilia (The inability for blood to clot properly)

Plays similar to Bioweapon, trying to juggle infectivity with lethality as all symptoms have lethality. Ends with acidic blood - PH balance in blood shifts causing blood to become highly acidic, damaging organs and skin as the person slowly melts from the inside out.

Well, google if you want to find out more, but it creates the desire to drink blood.

New routes of "infection" could include different forms of media control:  TV, internet, newspapers, magazines. The "infected" can begin to form cult-like groups with different fictions they adhere to regarding their "disease", possibly causing violence and social unrest between the morons who think they've got some space parasite and the ones that think teh gubmnt have hacked their teeth. Could be an interesting theme to explore, both conceptually and gameplay-wise, shifting the focus from manipulating a real disease to a fictional one via media control and the resulting hysteria. Would be a good way to demonstrate the power and potential pitfalls of ubiquitous technology and always-on information streams, especially when used for dubious purposes.

Would also be interesting to see a disease that hits wealthy nations faster and harder than the poor ones, seeing as how the wealthier nations are more "connected".

I guess it could be like the Simian Flu, with the different endings, one where the cult kills everyone, one where everyone becomes a cult member and another where everyone dies as a result of the diseases, and of course an ending where the disease is cured.

    • I have a few ideas

      1. A plauge that made people more lazy, rude, stupid, etc. so they stop doing productive things but you eventually make them so loazy that they just sit around and die.

      2. Chemical Weapon made by country that you start in. The put it in bombs that you can palce. Part of it would be trying to stop other countries from finding out about it and attackign you. You lose when your plauge is cured or everyone in the starting country dies. You could throw countries off your trail by planting fake evidence in other countries that they made it.

      3. Maybe a plauge that goes on during a nuclear war so if countries attack eachother, it might mutate the plauge but there are also bad mutations that decrease infectivity, lethality, severity, etc.

      Just some ideas

    • My ideas:

      1: Joker Venom!!! (From Batman)

2: Electronic Virus that takes over computers then the people who use them.

3: Something to do with insects mutating and taking over the world.

I wonder what it will be. Some things I came up were -Genetic Modification

The virus would make people become living weapons under your control. Simalar to the Necro-virus except more control over the combat and movement.

      -Vampire Plague

Yup. Just what it sounds like.

      -Overgrow Plague

Spread by geneticly modified plants. They grow in a person, infecting everyone it touches. It starts growing out off the hands and feet of the victims then eventually bursts out of their chest, planting them in the ground and spreading.

      -Werewolf Plague

Humans get a virus from wolves that turns them into werewolves. Always starts in Canada. You make werewolves have better combat and camouflage, eventually making werewolves able to morph into normal wolves. However, they are very unstable and can only eat certain meat, so you have to upgrade them to be able survive.

    • An space virus that emerges from an meteor, an bio-weapon from an alien race that is designed to assimilate all the native life of the planet it targets. Or in simplier words, an The Thing DLC.

Humanity wins if they detect the Thing early and destroy it.

Or an Blob like diesease, where it too comes out of a meteor and it infects people, slowly consuming them from the inside to emerge as a new blob and repeat. Eventually you win as all of humanity is consumed by the blob and all the blobs fuse together and eject themselves to a new planet to consume.

Humanity can win if they manage to destroy all Blobs

    • As someone from the FNAF wiki, I wonder if it's actually the final plague.

      Anyway, here's my two cents.

I personally want it to be something a bit more original than the last two, but I want it to keep the "two hosts" thing Simian Flu had.

Also, seeing as the special plagues are (somewhat) based on the standard plagues, I want either a prion one or a bio-weapon one.

(Also, a Mad Cow Disease scenario would be nice.)

        Loading editor
    • A scenario where stealth is essential would be nice.  A perfect subject for a scenario of this nature would be the Leviathan from Supernatural.  Killing people and shapeshifting to take their place with the endgame of driving all monsters except them to extinction and curing ailments such as cancer to mold the perfectly compliant species to breed and feast upon.  All with humanity utterly oblivious to their overlords' existence.

        Loading editor
    • It appears that the next plague is going to be vampire related. I like the idea, but it doesn't seem that different compared to other special plagues. Who knows though, maybe there's some huge twist and it's going to be fantastic.

On another note: A very uncreative and probably awful and boring idea for a new plague would be related to season finale of Doctor Who season 8.

      [SPOILERS]

In the season finale, a group of Cybermen (For those of you who don't watch the show, they're just robots) fly into the sky and explode, forming a cloud that spreads over graveyards (And later, all landmasses I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong). The clouds would start raining, except the rain wasn't just water, it was particles that, when in contact with any dead organic matter, would begin to transform it into a cyberman.

So what if the goal of this type is, rather than infecting everyone first, you start with a single cyberman who must kill humans (As discretly as possible. You can evolve abilities that would make it sneakier, or make humans less observant.) The clouds wouldn't be as noticable in typically rainy countries, but as the game goes on, you have to spread it to other places, and then you start to get noticed.

This is full of flaws, unoriginality, and just general not-so-good/really-bad ideas, but it's something

    • Final plague is unfortunately going to be Vampire Plague. Even though it  has been technically done with the "Vampiric hunger" in the Necroa Virus. Mechninzation, Werewolf, Alien (Hl2 Combine Esque), DX from cloning (from Jurassic Park The Lost World Novel), or Wendigo would be my hopes of other Plague DLC's (if more are made).

    • Even though its going to be a vampire plague I hope it focuses on how it affects people's blood or something like that

A Necroa Virus clone would be boring

        Loading editor
    • Maybe you will have to buy the ability for the vampires to infect people with different blood types or make the vampires you control be able to drink those types. Blood based diseases and vampires being nocturnal would be the main obstacles in the Plague like ZCom. I'd imagine cathmernal shift (like in Necora Virus) would be buyable for an expensive price. I still hope the developers have a change of heart and make one of the other diseases I/ others have listed being the final DLC. I hope they make the scenario creator fully open source so we can show the effects of our custom diseases VIA custom city cam and the MRI with custom photos/animations.

    • Okay, I know it's pretty much confirmed to be a vampire plague, but just as something to think about, how about a rabies outbreak? Maybe you can start with having certain animals infected and then have to purchase the symptom Agression to transmit it to humans? (Because rabies is transmitted from animals to humans through biting.)

I'm not positive this would work, because rabies comes in stages and ends in coma, so I'm not quite sure how mutations and such would factor in. Maybe you use DNA points to buy the symptoms of different stages of rabies? Ex. Buy all the symptoms of the furious stage to proceed onto the next stage?

I don't know. It was just an idea. I know it won't be canon or anything because we pretty much know as a fact it's a vampire plague, but I just wanted to share my idea.

While I like the idea of a "Use only one to kill them all", I'd suggest making it so that the infected gets super-powers or something like that.

I think It's a random human. Having the superpowers influenced by the origin place would be fun and would add a LOT of replayability.

    • Like if it's an arid location you could reduce his total body weight to make it float on air currents...

        Loading editor
    • ...And if the country's warm, give him pyrokinesis.

        Loading editor
    • How about this. If he's in a warm country, he has pyrokinesis to increase lethality. If in a cold country, he has cryokinesis to increase severity. If In a wet country, he can breathe underwater to infect quicker but travel slower. If in a dry country he can lighten his total body weight. This allows him to travel quicker but move slower. If in a rich country, he can disrupt cure research. If he's in a poor country, he can pollute trash to increase infectivity. If he's in an urban country, he can infect other people and make them kill people. If he's in a rural country, he can become invisible to make it much harder for him to be found and therefore decreases cure research.

        Loading editor
    • Yeah, but I think that instead of Infecting, you should kill everything. That way's funnier!

And instead of curing, the governement should simply try to kill you.

Also, maybe those should be the starting powers, and by evolving, you get MUUUUUUUCH more powerful.... powers.

        Loading editor
    • And the final power is this: "Ultimate Destruction" 'I will stop at nothing to kill everyone. Nothing can stand in my path.' Assuming that the lethality bar is this: [||| ] It would make it: [||||||||]|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| and it is only possible to get once all symptoms, abilities and powers have been evolved.

That's kinda in the game. The hypnosis virus idea is like the neurax worm because it sorta hypnotizes you to worship it and stuff.
