The following are strategies for the Call PETA achievement. Please feel free to add your own strategies, tips, and Q&A here:

Strategy 1

Start as Nipah Virus.

-Do NOT evolve Dog transmission or lethal symptoms.

-Wait for a message saying Kim Shardakian got a Pugapoo dog.

-Evolve Dog transmission.

-Raise lethality.

-Sooner or later, it will say the dog dies and then you get the achievement.

Strategy 2

Evolve Hendra Traits.

Evolve Horse.

Devolve all mutated symptoms until pop-up.

After pop-up, Evolve Dog and any other desired transmissions.

Allow first tier mutations to evolve without you evolving symptoms. Devolve tier 2 or higher.

Evolve the abilities of your choice (temps, drugs, hardening, shuffles, etc).

Once the second pop-up appears, you've got it.

Strategy 3

1. Gene combination

• Cytochrome Surge
• Genetic Mimic
• Aquacyte
• Extremophile
• Translesion +

We need to procrastinate and devolve any mutated symptoms.

2. Spread your plague Objective 1: Trigger "'Pugapoo' dog" event. Objective 2: Infect everyone without being spotted.

• Start in India. Evolve Hendra Traits and Horse 1 transmission ASAP. Leave Dog transmission alone.
• Evolve Drug Resistance 1, Genetic Hardening 1 and Cold Resistance 1-2.

Note: Nipah Virus is unstable and will mutate frequently. Make sure you have spare DNA to devolve symptoms.

• Watch out for "Kim Shardakian buys new 'Pugapoo' dog" in the news banner. Save game if it appears.

Note: If it doesn't show up before 50% infection of the world, you'd better start over again.

• Check your DNA points - shouldn't less than 100. Save game.

Note: This save can be used to unlock achievement No.119 as well.

3. Kill the dog!

• Evolve these traits:

- Dog

- Respiratory Shift

- Nausea

- Vomiting

- Pulmonary Oedema

- Haemoptysis

- Pulmonary Haemorrhage

• Now you can let pathogen mutate freely. However, if Respiratory Failure mutates, devolve it immediately.
• Wait for "XXX kills Kim Shardakian's dog" shows up. Mission accomplished.
• But if nothing happens or "Kim Shardakian's dog gets pampered" pops up, load your progress and retry.

Strategy 4

I've tried the other strategies (1-3) and they didn't work for me. So here's what finally did.

Genetic Code

• Metabolic Hijack
• Aquacyte
• Trans-Stasis
• Genetic Mimic
• Extremophile

Phase 1:

1. Start in India. (Note: devolve any symptoms that mutate then let them mutate freely in phase 2)

2. Evolve the following in order as soon as possible. Keep spare DNA for devolving symptoms:

• Hendra Traits
• Horse 1
• Drug Resistance 1
• Genetic Hardening 1
• Cold Resistance 1
• Cold Resistance 2

3. Wait for the news popup (sometimes it won't popup but will be red on newsfeed): "Kim Shardakian buys new 'Pugapoo' dog"

4. Save game as soon as popup appears. Mine always showed in the first year.

Phase 2:

5. Evolve Dog asap and the rest can be done based on your priorities. DO NOT evolve Respiratory Shift or Encephalitic Shift. It will kill the population too quickly. Let symptoms mutate freely now:

• Dog
• Swine 1
• Bat 2
• Horse 2
• Cedar Traits
• Fomites 1, 2, and 3
• Swine 2 and 3
• Air 1
• Genetic Hardening 2
• Drug Resistance 2

6. Wait and save up DNA points in case the cure percentage reaches 90%, use Genetic ReShuffle 1 and the rest to prevent it from reaching 100%.

7. Wait for "NIPAH kills Kim Shardakian's dog" to pop up. Congrats, you've killed a puppy! I usually get mine by the third year with 60% success rate. If it fails, load game and start phase 2 again.
