Socially Awkward Bat is a gene exclusive to the Shadow Plague. With this gene active, the Vampire immediately starts a new Blood Rage when it enters a new country.

- Very useful for attacking in low-DNA situations, such as Templar fighting.
- With Berserker, Blood Rages are overpowered, and you can quickly destroy anything using minimal DNA.
- Combining this gene with Dark Ritual 1 or 2 will allow an injured Vampire to rapidly heal itself when fighting Templar Bases at higher difficulties.
- It is useless if you have Brawler since Blood Rage is now free.
