I'm curious if this community has ever considered enabling the discussions feature. Having a modern area for users to communicate that is integrated into the wiki has been proven to increase activity and adds another reason to keep users coming back to the wiki. Fandom data suggests that users who check out Discussions are twice as likely to visit that wiki again, compared to users who only browse articles. Adding this feature basically upgrades the wiki from just an encyclopedia, into a comprehensive fan destination and a place for users to hang out, rather than just visiting the wiki quickly for some information, and then leaving. It could help invite fresh energy, new ideas, and help sustain the community.
It is entirely up to you of course, but if you'd like, I could enable this feature for the wiki and it could possibly encourage new editors to join (or old ones to return). Let me know whether or not you're interested.
You can find more information about it at these links:
Great! I'll ask to have discussions activated for this community sometime this week.
There is one other optional thing we could do while enabling discussions, if you're interested. I see this wiki uses the old forums feature, which has been depreciated for several years. It still functions of course, but to my knowledge, it is never going to be updated. If you'd like, I could ask Fandom staff to migrate forum content into discussions. You don't need to do this, and you are welcome to keep Forums intact and separate on the wiki while discussions are set up separately.
Let me know what you would like to see done with the forums (keep them as-is, or migrate them into the new discussions). - Sitb(Message wall / Talk page) 00:49, July 17, 2019 (UTC)
As it turns out, the forum migration tool is currently disabled for maintenance, so the wiki's forums will remain along-side discussions for now (the decision whether or not to migrate forums can be made later). I'll go ahead with enabling Discussions though in the next few days, and let you know when it happens. - Sitb(Message wall / Talk page) 11:32, July 19, 2019 (UTC)
The discussions feature is now active on this wiki! You can find it, and your new community feed through the wiki's top navigation ("Discuss").
I've already provided you with a few useful links related to discussions above, but here's some more information, specifically related to how the admin and moderator tools are used (See: Help:Admin and Moderator Tools in Discussions). If you have any more questions about the feature, feel free to send me a message. - Sitb(Message wall / Talk page) 10:42, July 20, 2019 (UTC)
I thought I would reach out to you, since you are one of the administrators here. I have recently been appointed as the Fandom Wiki Manager for this wiki. I am here to assist this community in an official capacity and act as a liaison between you, and full-time Fandom staff. If you, or any other users of this wiki ever have an issue or question related to the wiki (editing, templates, wiki design, or any other matters), please feel free to contact me on my message wall, and I will assist in any way I can.
Copy the information from Anaemia (Shadow Plague), and paste it under its own Heading. It would be best, I believe, to copy the Infobox for Anaemia (Shadow Plague) as well. Use Classic Editor to transfer the information, as it will allow you to do so without having the Infobox look wonky. It can take a while to correct an Infobox error.
I prefer the Shadow Plague because it grants me increased control over the Cure Effort. Consuming the Island Countries can be time-consuming, but it will decimate the Cure Effort as well as provide surplus amounts of DNA Points.
I prefer Shadow Plague because while it requires time to reach full power, the actual amount of time between the plague being spotted and the player winning is very short, and the Shadow Plague's mechanics allow me to cripple the Cure Effort before it even begins.
The Neurax Worm is my old favorite, and is still one of my preferred plagues because it can actively combat the Cure Effort (just send Trojan Planes to the more troublesome countries, like Canada), and it is more Speedrun-capable than the Shadow Plague.
I'd like to add hard numerical info to all the articles like exact increases of key stats for each symptom. They can be read in the scenario editor. Is that okay with you admins or do you have some problems with something like that for some reason?
