Hyperdontia is a symptom exclusive to the Shadow Plague DLC. It causes the infected to have teeth protruding from their mouths, Making it more infectious.
In Real Life
Hyperdontia is when extra (supernumerary) teeth grow in the mouth. They sometimes have to be removed because they cause pain or crowd other teeth. Causes can be primary teeth that have not fallen out and extra teeth that grew because of radiation or similar causes.
