Harvester is a gene exclusive to the Shadow Plague. With this gene active, the vampire gains more DNA Points when using Blood Rage to consume victims.

This gene is useful in case, the player needs enough DNA to obtain certain disease traits or achievements, such as destroying a Templar Fort in hard difficulties.[2] This gene is useful when using the Blood Rage ability in certain countries to get a lot more DNA, countries with large populations such as India or China are very useful to generate DNA points with Blood Rage fused with this gene.[3]
