Body Scanner is a feature exclusive to Plague Inc: Evolved. It shows how a plague impacts the human body. Body Scanner is purely cosmetic, and does not alter gameplay. The body scanner is not available for special plagues, as the body scanner is replaced with varying close-ups of the human head, with stages of infection advancing the more the plague evolves.
In the mobile version of Plague Inc., the body scanner is replaced by a petri dish with red liquid inside of it.
