Bird 1 is a tier 1 transmission found in the standard plague types, the Neurax Worm DLC, and the Swine Flu scenario. It increases infectivity, and it grants a bonus to land transmission (across countries). It also raises the chance of a mutation to occur.

When governments start taking action against your disease, the message "(Country) exterminates pigeons" will appear in the news box if Bird 1 is evolved.
