Bacteria are single-celled, prokaryotic microorganisms. Among the first life forms to appear on Earth, bacteria have a strong role in shaping planet Earth's ecosystem. Beneficial bacteria help the human body in a multitude of ways, especially for digestion in the case of gut flora while also producing edible goods such as yogurt. But bacteria are also responsible for a variety of diseases. Pathogenic bacteria can cause maladies such as food poisoning, gastritis, ulcers, gonorrhoea, botulism, meningitis etc. Most bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotics by either killing the pathogen or inhibiting its growth, but some strains of bacteria (e.g. staphylococcus aureus) can develop antibiotic resistance.
Special Ability
The special ability for Bacteria is Bacterial Resilience, which raises its survivability and effectiveness in all climates. It does not give drug resistance and the boost is worse than those provided by Cold/Heat Resistance individually.
