ATP Boost is a gene available for the standard plagues, in addition to the Neurax Worm, Virus Necroa and Simian Flu DLCs. This gene gives the player extra DNA points to be able to evolve some traits from the beginning of the game.

- In the Simian Flu, if this gene combines with ATP Overdose, they can accumulate a total of 23 DNA Points.
- The German gaming website GamingPro recommends this gene in order to beat Virus and Nano-Virus.[1]
